The Rise (and Eventual Fall) of Our "Funny" Movie Podcast
Of course you're checking out the About page...you must be really bored.
Our Mission and Vision
Vision Statement:
To boldly go where far too many podcasts have gone before — into the vast, overpopulated world of movie talk — but with way fewer credentials, slightly better hairlines, and a deep commitment to pretending we know what we’re talking about.
Our Mission:
We, Curtis and Oz, are here to explore cinema in all its glorious stupidity and occasional brilliance. Each month we pick a theme and dive into movies that fit it… sort of. Then we ask three ridiculous questions no real film critic would ever bother with — and we call it “analysis.”
Goals
Lower the bar for film discourse. Because not everyone went to film school — and frankly, we wouldn’t have made it past orientation.
Make you laugh, not smarter. We’re not here to elevate the conversation; we’re here to remind you that movies are supposed to be fun, dumb, and occasionally life-changing (but mostly dumb).
Become the world’s most okay-est movie podcast. If someone describes us as “pretty good background noise,” we’ve done our job.
Long-Term Vision
To build a global community of listeners who love movies, bad impressions, and jokes that go on three sentences too long — and to one day have at least one celebrity guest who doesn’t immediately regret saying yes.

Meet The Hosts

Oz
Oz (a.k.a. The Bald One With Opinions)
Oz is the self-appointed “producer” of Let’s Talk About Flix, mostly because he pays for the subscriptions. A lifelong movie fan with a pallet for anything captured on film, Oz brings structure, research, and exactly one fact per episode that may or may not be true. He claims to have a “system” for picking monthly movie themes, but it mostly involves reverse-engineering an idea to fit a movie he wants to watch. When not recording, Oz can be found enthusiastically explaining why Flash Gordon is a masterpiece and why subtitles are for “fancy folk.”

Curtis
Curtis (a.k.a. The Smart One, Relatively Speaking)
Curtis is the calm, collected counterbalance to Oz’s chaos — the voice of reason in a podcast that’s allergic to reason. He brings an encyclopedic knowledge of nerdy things (c'mon, look at him), a quick wit that has never resulted in a fight, and the patience of a saint forced to co-host with Oz. Curtis can find thematic depth in a Pauly Shore movie and philosophical meaning in Sharknado 3. He’s not here to judge your taste — he’s just here to question it publicly for laughs.
